ELIGIBILITY FOR ADMISSION: Post Graduate Courses Applicants who have passed the Bachelor Degree or any equivalent examination recognized by the University of Madras are eligible for admission to M.Sc. / M.Com. degree courses.

Eligibility For Admission
A Bachelor’s degree in science, with Biochemistry, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Microbiology, Nutrition, Food Service Management and Dietetics, Biotechnology, Genetics, Physics, Agriculture, B.E/B.Tech.(Biotechnology), M.B.B.S, B.D.S, B.Pharm and B.P.T from this University or any other qualification accepted as equivalent thereto is eligible for admission to the M.Sc, Degree course.

Eligibility For Admission
Applicants who have passed B.Com. / B.A.Cor.sec / B.Com.A&F / B.C.S. / B.B.A. / B.B.M. / B.A.(Co.po) BSc.Computer Science /  B.A. Industrial Organisation / B.Sc. Maths / B.C.A. / B.Sc. Statistics with any two core / main papers offered at B.Com level (above courses recognized by the University of Madras or any other university recognized by the syndicate as equivalent there to)

Eligibility For Admission

Procedure for Admission

Application forms for admission to B.Sc.,B.C.A.,B.Com.,B.A.,B.B.A.,M.Sc., and M.Com., course are available at the college office and may be obtained on payment of Rs. 200/- in cash on all working days between 9.00 a.m and 4.00 p.m.

  • 1. Application forms duty filled should be submitted at the college office.
  • 2. Application forms should be accompanied with the attested photocopies of the following certificates.(No originals should be sent)
    • Transfer certificate , Conduct certificate , Community certificate , Higher Secondary mark sheet, Aadhar card , Ration card(Smart card)

Grievance Redressal

  • There are several ways in which students’ grievances are addressed in Prince Shri Venkateshwara Arts & Science College. The Principal is the first and final authority whom any student can approach directly in case of any complaints such as ragging, caste discrimination by SC / ST students or any other.
  • A ragging prevention committee comprising of the Principal, senior professor, Local Inspector of Police and 4 students representatives has been instituted and the committee members’ phone numbers are provided in the college handbook for easy access. The fresher’s are informed of the same during their orientation programmes and also encouraged to use suggestion boxes kept on campus to bring any offensive behaviour to the notice of the authorities.
